Let me be up front, anyone attacking me, or any one of my friends at UCLA because of our faith, will rue the day. I will defend myself. I am
armed with (legal) weapons under California law.

I have personally spoken to several LAPD and sheriffs, about the use of these weapons. They say, consider how toxic they are, and whether it's worth getting involved in the legal system. "The "liberal" attorney profession will do everything possible to make my your miserable."

I am prepared for the worst.

There are only a very few circumastances that one can defend oneself
using these weapons..that is very important to understand.

For example, if a pro-Palestinian protestor calls you a "Dirty Heb" or
says, "You should burn in hell" or "Go back to Israel" (that's a good one),
or "kill the juice" (juice?), or "We need another Holocaust", AND then
attacks, you are allowed to defend yourself, and I don't mean just
by throwing bagels or skull caps or threatening intervention of Hashem.

I read in a local paper today that students are cowering in fear
on the UCLA campus..that anti-Semitism is rampent in the libaray,
cafeteria and classroom. Students are harassed going to and from class
and on the walkways.

Folks, there are over 5,000 Jewish students attending UCLA.
I am sure that if the black or Hispanic students were similarly
inconvenienced...all hell would break out.

Of course only identifiable Jews can be attacked personally. I shudder
to think what a Student for Christ would do, how he (she) would react
to taunts (thinking they are Jewish). Maybe it's their scholarly posture
or comfortment that fools these pro-Palis thugs. Or as one wise-guy once told me, "All Jewish students at Harvard read the newsaper at their
meals". Wowowoow.

I would recommend one of the producers of the current (crap) crop of
Holocaust movies makes a film about hatred on the UCLA campus. The
background would be perfect, and many, many films have been made there.

Let's see, Kate Winslet, the illerate who garners sympathy over even
though she's a NAZI SS guard in Auschwitz, the Tom Cruz film about
a NAZI general who hated Jews, but hated Hilter more (he was losing
the war).

BTW, those who attacked Hitler were concerned that Germany was moving
in the wrong direction..and losing., not their overall plan to create
"A New World Order". No SS guard was forced to serve in a camp. They did it volunarily without any recrimination if they decided to go back
to the regular German army (on the Russian front and elsewhere).
They had it good in those camps..no enemy to fight, and 3 squares, plus
Christmas gifts.

Doesn't this all sound familar, A New World Order...except now it's an Islamic empire, with Sharia, you know, their law that allows severing
of heads and arms? (Read the Taliban and Saudi Arabia).

"And stop with this Al Qaeda nonsense, already. They’ve been crippled and are persona non grata all over the world these days. Aside from in our Arabian “allies,” Al Qaeda ia practically extinct. "

Yea, right.
Maybe in Afghanistan, but then why is Obama surging 17000 troops into the southern Afghanistan region ?
And why has ne not only maintained all of Bushs GWOT policies but executed additional strikes into Northern Pakistan ?

Besides that, you're conveniently of message agin, I was not refering to Al Queda itaelf, I was refering to groups that are sympathetic to the ideology springing up across the planet.
Even right here at home.

"Scattered across the United States, unknown to all but a handful of citizens, are 35 Islamic terrorist training compounds known as “Muslims of America.” Under the leadership of a radical Pakistani cleric, Sheikh Mubarak Gilani, Muslims of America has thousands of devoted followers who are being groomed for HOMEGROWN JIHAD.

In never-before-seen video footage, the Christian Action Network exposes these dangerous terrorist compounds and reveals for the first time a secret training tape in which American Muslims are recruited to “join one of the most advanced training courses in Islamic military warfare”… right here in America! They are called “Soldiers of Allah” and they are trained in explosives, kidnapping, murder, firing weapons, and guerilla warfare. They are told, “Act like you are a friend, then kill him just like from the book.”

Go watch the video and then tell me we dont have the problem I mentioned.

Jersey, by the way.
The amount of people that believe that we are rersposible for global warming is taking a dive also.

Al Gore’s side may be coming to power in Washington, but they appear to be losing the battle on the idea that humans are to blame for global warming.

"Forty-four percent (44%) of U.S. voters now say long-term planetary trends are the cause of global warming, compared to 41% who blame it on human activity.

And less people are worried about it today than ever before.

Additionally, only a little more than a third of Americans say that immediate, drastic action is needed in order to maintain life as we know it on the planet.

These results are from Gallup's annual Environment poll, conducted March 6-9, 2008.

They're your words , verbatum.
my point is even bolstered by Hauk applying the same correction to you.
We both took it the same way that you were saying that jews brought christianity here when thats absolutely wrong.
Its a Germainic rip off from the middle east brought here by European settlers, not the Jews.
You're a perfect example of no matter how great a student of history you think you are, you still misrepresent the facts just to lie and make your point out of stupid childish ego.
I hate it when peopl try to tell me the moon is made out of cheese and then get all pi$$ed when I tell em they're full of it.

Ya, know, I've offered you my olive branch before. Even going as far as to share my damn recipes with you, all I ask in return is a little honesty once in a while so that maybe amongst two of the greatest opposites there can be we find an answer or solution one day to something, fricking anything, I dont care, it could be the inadvertant migration deviation of the South African Dung Beetle.

"And stop with this Al Qaeda nonsense, already."

Its not nonsense, there are many groups rising that have never even been to the middle east that simply do it out of love for the doctrine and the ideology.

"My point about AGCC, is that you guys would do NOTHING about it, essentially the same point you were making about my religious practice (I do not), the difference being, I don’t care if I go to heaven just as apparently you do care if you live ina polluted world."

Sorry man, you're just too thick to get it.
I'm all about keeping the planet pristine.
But if you try to sell me a bunch of crap in the name of global waeming or some carbon credits I'll spit in your face.

Your science that its doomsday is flawed.

Eric,

You are honored by your enemies. I attended the UCI version with some of the same speakers and wrote a report for it on Campus Watch and Frontpage. What I got was an arrogant response from one of the event organizers, Diane Shammas, who loves to point out that she is a PHD. I also got a four-letter tirade with an implied threat from one who purports to be a UCI student. No matter, I turned it over to UCI for their inaction.

Whether one defends Israel or not, what I find most disturbing is the resurgence of anti-Semitism that we see on our campuses and in our streets. It is disgraceful that our main-stream news media will not report the chants of "Long Live Hitler" and "Jews, go back to the ovens" that we are now hearing from some of the pro-Palestinian demonstrators. It is also happening in Canada, most recently, at York University. Yet, the public has to go on the Internet to even learn about it.

Jersey, you're just trying to make up for saying something really stupid again.

You said if it werent fir the Jews coming to Americas shores we wouldnt of had christianity here.

here we go, once again, read your own crap and just shut up already.
JMJ;

“if it weren’t for a few good Jewish gentlemen that supported our fledgling republic THERE WOULDN’T EVEN BE A UNITED STATES TODAY - and there’d be no Christianity either,”

Dont lay your asinine games with me.

"That’s a LIE. You have no PROOF. You are LYING."

Yea ?
I'll use just one example, you're the liar, always have been.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Environmental Prohibition on Pesticide Spreads Malaria

Ever since Rachel Carson's 1962 book Silent Spring, environmental extremists have sought to ban all DDT use. Using phony studies from the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND and the Natural Resources Defense Council, the environmental activist-controlled Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) banned DDT in 1972.

The extremists convinced the nation that DDT was not only unsafe for humans but unsafe to birds and other creatures as well. Their arguments have since been scientifically refuted.

While DDT saved crops, forests and livestock, it also saved humans.

In 1970, the U.S. National Academy of Sciences estimated that DDT saved more than 500-million lives during the time it was widely used. A scientific review board of the EPA showed that DDT is not harmful to the environment and showed it to be a beneficial substance that "should not be banned." According to the World Health Organization, worldwide malaria infects 300-million people. About 1 million die of malaria each year. Most of the victims are in Africa, and most are children.

In Sri Lanka, in 1948, there were 2.8-million malaria cases and 7,300 malaria deaths. With widespread DDT use, malaria cases fell to 17 and no deaths in 1963. After DDT use was discontinued, Sri Lankan malaria cases rose to 2.5 million in the years 1968 and 1969, and the disease remains a killer in Sri Lanka today.

More than 100,000 people died during malaria epidemics in Swaziland and Madagascar in the mid-1980s, following the suspension of DDT house spraying. After South Africa stopped using DDT in 1996, the number of malaria cases in KwaZuluNatal province skyrocketed from 8,000 to 42,000.

By 2000, there had been an approximate 400% increase in malaria deaths. Now that DDT is being used again, the number of deaths from malaria in the region has dropped from 340 in 2000 to none at the last reporting in February 2003.

In South America, where malaria is endemic, malaria rates soared in countries that halted house spraying with DDT after 1993-Guyana, Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela. In Ecuador, DDT spraying was increased after 1993, and the malaria rate of infection was reduced by 60%.

In a 2001 study published by the London-based Institute for Economic Affairs, "Malaria and the DDT Story," Richard Tren and Roger Bate say that "Malaria is a human tragedy," adding, "Over 1 million people, mostly children, die from the disease each year, and over 300 million fall sick."

The fact that DDT saves lives might account for part of the hostility toward it. Alexander King, founder of the Malthusian Club of Rome, wrote in a biographical essay in 1990: "My own doubts came when DDT was introduced. In Guyana, within two years, it had almost eliminated malaria. So my chief quarrel with DDT, in hindsight, is that it has greatly added to the population problem." Dr. Charles Wurster, one of the major opponents of DDT, is reported to have said, "People are the cause of all the problems. We have too many of them. We need to get rid of some of them, and this (referring to malaria deaths) is as good a way as any."

Spraying a house with small amounts of DDT costs $1.44 per year; alternatives are five to 10 times more, making them unaffordable in poor countries. Rich countries that used DDT themselves threaten reprisals against poor countries if they use DDT.

One really wonders about religious groups, the Congressional Black Caucus, government and non-government organizations, politicians and others who profess concern over the plight of poor people around the world while at the same time accepting or promoting DDT bans and the needless suffering and death that follow. Mosquito-borne malaria not only has devastating health effects but stifles economic growth as well.

Environmental Prohibition on Pesticide Spreads Malaria

Ever since Rachel Carson’s 1962 book Silent Spring, environmental extremists have sought to ban all DDT use.

A scientific review board of the EPA showed that DDT is not harmful to the environment and showed it to be a beneficial substance that “should not be banned.” According to the World Health Organization, worldwide malaria infects 300-million people. About 1 million die of malaria each year. Most of the victims are in Africa, and most are children.

JMJ;
"Micky, are you siding with this guy?"

Well, technically and factually he was right about Christmas, and you werent.

"Christmas was a nominal holiday until relatively recently in history, especially here in the West, where WE live."

Aside from that you were still wrong in saying we wouldnt have it here in America if it werent for the Jews.
You basically were saying that had it not been for the Jews that originally settled our shores there would be no Christianity in this country, thats was plain stupid and wrong.

JMJ;
"if it weren’t for a few good Jewish gentlemen that supported our fledgling republic THERE WOULDN’T EVEN BE A UNITED STATES TODAY - and there’d be no Christianity either,"

When the fact is that Christianity was around long long long before that.
For you to argue against that statement is just foolish.

"No person has ever been murdered by an “eco-terrorist.” Period. And to suggest that environmentalism has ever killed anyone - other than perhaps environmentalists killed by governments or corporate interests - is stupid, at best."

The point you're making as to whether or not it was an incorportaed interest or goverment backed eco-ism or environmentlist is irrelevant and just another obfuscation or sidestep on your part.
Environmentalism and eco terrorism as a movement has killed people.

"11 was a terrible day. In the annals of history, it will be but a footnote regarding the decline of the American empire in that our reaction to 9/11 was stupider than stupid can be."

Once again, you're being disengenuous in focusing "ONLY" on 911 as I've already mentioned twice now that I was saying the emphasis should be on Radical Islam, and not 911 only.
Look acrosss the world just in the last 50 years and the death rate as a result of Radicasl Islam is into the hundreds of thousands if not millions over the span of centuries.
Whats worse is its getting worse, it is now a movement based on the doctrine of Nazi Germany with the Islamic brotherhood we see today having its roots in and with Nazi Germany and the WW2 era.
Without going off into the documentation I've already shown before proving this I'll make the originbal point I was getting at.
That point would be that because of our fear of upsetting anyone in this country and all the PC bullsh*t we see around us dont see museums raising awareness to a problem that is not only prevalent in our society , but across the world also.
Theres a ton of WW2 and holocaust museums around that bring awareness to the problem, but only after the fact.
So, O.K., I realize you cant have a museum for an event that actually hasnt taken place, but we could have visual symposeums that show people what radical Islam is doing all over the world right now to millions if innocent people from S. Africa, to Indonesia, to the Middle East, Asia and right here at home.
Why donr we do it ?
Because theres people out there that are more worried about hurting the feelings of a few who dont care or dont get it instead of educating our people on what a growing movement it is.
We have cells popping up everywhere across the planet who have never even met with a middle eastern operative but still operate in the name of Bin Laden/Al Queda and create their little gangs as homage to the movement.
Its become an ideology that does not require you to be that of the original breed we saw in the last 50 years. They are no longer just Arabs.
Jeez, they've got like 10 guys right now at Gitmo that are Chinese nationals who are scheduled to be released but we cant for fear that their homeland will torture them.
Gee, how bout that huh ?
The torturing Americans keeping our enemies from being tortured.
Wonder why that little tid bit never shows up on the front page of the Times ?

JMJ;
"If you’re right and there’s no anthropomorphic global climate change, then I have nothing to worry about, right ?
But if I’m right and you’re not. …"

Look Jersey, you guys make this claim based on bias funded subjective science.
Its a not of a spiritual nature and I'm not shoving my belief upon the WHOLE FREAKING WORLD NOW AM I ????

"If you’re right and there’s no need to further regulate markets, then I have nothing to worry about, right ?
But if I’m right and you’re not. …"

Theres a difference between oversight and regulation.

If you close your mind to the potential for either one to be true, you're screwing yourself. In opening my mind I've come closer to believing that everything just works too damn well and makes too much sense to be an accident.
Much like global warming, I've never ever doubted that man has an impact on environment, only a complete BOZO would think that.
Its the ulterior motives behind the movement of propelling myths only to change society and create socialist rule that bothers me.

And yes, it always was a conflicting message that came from my Danish relatives and ancestors.
Thor, trolls, and all of that while being forced to go to Lutheran Church every Sunday is just the beggining of what led me away from organized religion.

JMJ;
"few changes and regulations here and there."

he he, talk about minimization ?????
Whoooowee are you missing the big picture.
Are calling everything that Obama has done in the last 3 weeks "a few" ?

You need your head examined.
