The Chicago Cannonball and I broke up
The Chicago Cannonball and I broke up.
There are no villains. I will never say a bad word about her.
We gave it our best shot, but after 10 months, we didn’t make it.
The positive memories will last forever, but the relationship did not.
She will always have a special place in my heart.

Yea Parrot.
I’m usually not too good at consoling in these matters so I try to use humor.
But Eric knows I’m on his side and have faith that he’ll be just fine.
I’m sure in our own undividual way we all know the hurt and also know that the only thing that really works is the time it takes to learn to live with it.
As much as this is not about me I still have to say that I’m a little bummed for myself only because I was so happy for Eric.

Long distance relationships between young professionals can be really tricky. I’ve seen so many friends of mine try it and in the end it rarely works out. It’s a tough scene out there for yuppies in love. My heart goes out to all of them, especially Eric.

Young urban professionals. I didn’t mean it as a slant. It’s just what they happen to be.

No big deal. It was more funny to me than anything.
I just havent heard of yuppies in quite a while, like “preppies”
Of course I could of gone all hypersensative liberal and said that I resent the generalized categorization labeling as everyone is unique in their own individual way and bla bla bla.

Heck of a way to get out of buying you a birthday present…there are usually a number of women in men’s lives, and we are awe struck and dumb struck by some, grief stricken and puppy whipped by others…but a common theme are the very words describing our feelings… face it, we are destined to get a beating from the women we love…or like, or lust after… cherish the next “first kiss” or electrifying touch of fresh smooth skin…
