I don't even take pain killers after surgery and I've had quite a few of those too. Remember, pain is in fact, after all, all in your head. Everest. Tried em a while back. Got two slipped discs and four pinched nerves. The surgery is a crap shoot 50/50. I could end up in a wheel chair or be free of meds forever.
