Putting myself in JMJ's moccasins, I would probably react the same way to Governor Palin's speech, etc. I would be very uncomfortable, and would find someway to convince myself that she is no threat to me.

I, however, am a fan of reality. The reality here is, the speech rocked. No merely coached speech giver could have done as well as she did - note, Cindy McCain, who WAS thoroughly coached, it being her FIRST time out as a speaker...and on national television no less. If you contrast the two, the Governor obviously has some skills. Obama has some skills along the same line. Reality.

More reality: it was a speech that could have partly been given by Ann Coulter, pointing out the obvious with biting wit. Ann Coulter does not win everyone with her rhetoric. On the flip side: Governor Palin didn't say a thing that wasn't true Those of us who stand for what she does, were happy to have someone give back in kind to the ridicule and misrepresentation we have had to put up with for too long, in our attempts to treat the opposition with respect.

And on and on; she absolutely talked about all she needed to say about herself, she talked about her accomplishments, her family, and unless you were not listening, you got a very clear picture of what she will accomplish in Washington. She put the media critics in their place by not deigning to address any of the slime they threw on her. Sarah Palin is a class act, which thoroughly belies the MSM template for hillbilly conservatives, no matter how hard they try to fit her in it.

The reality of Sarah Palin finally ends my attempts to fit myself in the democrat world in an attempt to find reality there. The bottom line is; Palin and McCain bring a history of walking out, and LIVING their campaign rhetoric. These are realities we can STAND on when voting for the hope of their promise for change and reform. On the other side, despite their rhetoric, there is nothing I can stand on to believe and support the Obama/Biden 'promises' of 'hope' for 'change', except a history of supporting ideas that in reality, never work.

I am proud to support John McCain and Sarah Palin for change you can TRULY believe in.

Re: "Wow Wow Wow"
Oh if I were a young man again...Oh, Oh, Oh

Re:"“As for oil and gas, take it from a girl that knows the north slope. We’ve got lots of both.”"

http://www.gerrycharlottephelps.com/2008/09/palins-strategi.html
Excerpt:
Palin knows energy, says IBD.

She's already figured out how to deliver energy to the U.S. without Congress — by championing state legislation to create a 1,712-mile natural gas pipeline across Canada to the U.S.

It was a major feat, negotiating with the Canadian government, educating lawmakers and getting the public behind her. In a decade, the $30 billion project will ship 4.5 million cubic feet of gas a day from the North Slope to Houston's air conditioners, Iowa's farm machines and Boston's winter furnaces.

This is the kind of leadership the U.S. needs, says IBDs editorial board.

Not only will getting serious about Alaska help the economy, it will also help our allies in Europe and the Far East whose economies are severely battered by high energy prices and who are seeing some of the most direct threats from the petro-tyrants.

Choosing Palin shows John McCain is serious about energy, says IBD.

He's also cheap and won't pay his bills!

I don't understand why anybody thinks Biden will beat her in a debate. I have watched Biden for close to 20 years in Committee Hearings and he always comes off a as a pontificating, condescending, self important bore. This is not because he is a democrat. Many Republican Senators come off similarly. He barely can get through 2-3 sentences without a umm, uhh or an er.

MIcky all I can say is AMEN.

Whooo, that was a cutting and formidable come back.

Ha, this joke has been on the trail for 3 days and shes takin all the wind out of Bambis sails

Id you study her past she is anything but a joke.

... If you've any doubts as to "Saracuda's" ability to hold her own against Joe Biden in a debate, check out this video of her debate in the 2006 campaign for governor against Tony Knowles - a then popular two term governor of the state of Alaska. ...
http://gregransom.com/prestopundit/2008/09/sarah-palin-debates-tony-knowl.html

"And Sarah Palin is going to absolutely mop the floor with Smarmy Joe Biden. If you want to see her in action in a debate, check out PrestoPundit’s video of the 2006 gubernatorial debate. ...
Gov. Palin’s “muscular world of action…”
Published 46 hours ago at The Anchoress
... , will be joining the family at the convention. Makes sense. I hope this family is heartened by their reception there. The tape you know Joe Biden is watching : Palin in a Gubernatorial debate . She does very well here. "

Go ahead Jersey, say whatever you want. Her track record and the facts are what people are going to look at.

Not some hateful bloggers raunchy disgusting name calling and dishonest portrayal of a decent woman

"It just goes to show that GOP voters don’t pay much attention to the issues at hand.'

Once again you dodge the issue at hand and obfuscate to something irrelevant to the point.

But while you bring it up i must say that issues like global warming, giving terrorists rights, saving trees instead of people, whether or not gays can say they're married or if its PC to call an illegal alien "illegal" dont concern us.

Of course the statement itself is a blatent outright childish lie.
Be nice if you could make point once in a while without lying.

It goes to show that a woman whom you so lovingly called a "whore", utterly unqualified, devoid of competence, experience and intellect.
Compared her to a pro wrestler(those guys are actually not pros), Said a dog was more inpressive than her, a rank amateur actually drew a larger audience than Obama who has H U G E name reckognition RIGHT ???

Rolling on the floor laughing my a$$ off !
Obama has been on the campaign trail for 2 years now ansd shes only been at it 3 days and B L O W S him away !!

"Micky, she practiced that speech up the wazoo. She may be “Thatcher” for all I know, but then I don’t know it and neither do you (unless, of course, you happen to be an Alaskan from a very small, particular town)."

God you are so full of it , and soooo disengenuous to the point that you are a liar by intentionally omitting the facts I pointed out about the speech earlier.
It doesnt matter if she practiced it for a year. she had to as lib half of it due to the problems I showed you.

AND SO WHAT IF SHE DID PRACTICE IT ????
Every candidate practices their speeches and has them written for them !!!!!!

So knock off your spin BS.
All your doing is repeating statements that have been refuted , counterd and put to rest already.
Which means you got N O T H I N G when you have to do that.

She kicked a$$ buddy !

And you cant stand it !!!

Ha ha.
