Hillary Clinton promises to combat rising inequality and rising pessimism in the United States workforce. I know that I am considered on the far left of the American polity. That’s okay with me. But I’m also a realist and consider things as they are and when I vote I vote with that in mind. I perenially split my tickets, mostly at the local level, and simply think that the Dems are better than the GOP in general today. I also think that a shift to a Dem Hill and White House would help to offset the damages the single party rule of the past 7 years have done. Usually I would prefer split government at all levels, but that isn’t a steadfast position. I would love a Social Democracy as they have in Europe, but that ain’t happening any time soon - which is one of the reasons I think that paranoid loonies are wasting their energy fighting a virtually nonexistant “socialist” or “leftist” movement in America.
